Week of Sept 2-6 (Closed on Sept 2) – “Slime-tisse”
Get ready for some messy, creative fun! We’ll reimagine Matisse’s famous artwork using slime—yes, slime! At our mini slime bar, kids will whip up their own slime and use it to recreate a masterpiece, all while learning a bit about the science behind slime-making.
Week of Sept 9-13 – “Wings of fire: Flying Animal Creations”
Let your imagination take flight! This week, kids will explore the world of flying creatures, from dragons to unicorns. Our little engineers will craft their own magical, winged creations—because anything is possible!
Week of Sept 16-20 – “Fall into Creativity: Autumn Wreaths”
Fall is here, and we’re celebrating with colorful autumn wreaths! Kids will have fun designing and crafting their own wreaths to take home, adding their own creative spin to this seasonal project.
Week of Sept 23-27 – “Turn Trash into Treasure”
This week, kids will use everyday recyclable materials to create one-of-a-kind art pieces. They’ll get creative while learning how we can take care of our planet at the same time.

Welcome to Alice in WonderLab, where creativity meets curiosity! We are not your regular art studio. At Alice in WonderLab, we believe in combining the magic of art with the excitement of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) to create a unique and engaging learning experience for elementary-aged kids.

Meet Ms. Alice
The inspiring founder of Alice in WonderLab, Ms. Alice isn't just a brilliant former brain scientist—
she's a fun and passionate educator with a love for both art and science. As a professional in the field, she has conducted extensive research on the hippocampus, a vital part of the brain responsible for memory and learning. Additionally, her background in medicine further deepens her knowledge and commitment to STEM education.
But that's not all! Ms. Alice is an avid art enthusiast who has visited many of the world's most famous art museums. Her love for art and science fuels her mission to combine these two fields in a way that makes learning fun and exciting for children. She is especially dedicated to inspiring girls to explore and fall in love with STEM, aiming to nurture the next generation of curious minds and innovators.
Ms. Alice is also the proud mom of two little Buford Wolves (Go Wolves!), and she loves serving the community and school. Her passion is bringing the wonders of STEM and art to every child she teaches in a fun and engaging way.

Class Schedule
Our STEM-based art classes are designed for elementary school-aged kids, combining creativity with exciting scientific concepts. Here’s everything you need to know about our class schedule:
- When: Every Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
- Time: 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM
What We Do:
- STEM-Based Art: Every class includes fun and engaging STEM-based art projects.
- Painting & Craft Engineering: We go beyond painting, incorporating craft engineering projects to spark creativity and critical thinking.
- Learn About Artists and Scientists: Discover famous artists and scientists, and learn about their incredible contributions.
- Explore Cultures and Times: Dive into different cultures and historical periods through creative activities.
- Creative Thinking: Engage in activities designed to help kids practice creative thinking, not just creative making. We'll solve fun problems, come up with innovative ideas, and encourage out-of-the-box thinking.
- Hands-On Experiments: Participate in simple, hands-on experiments that make learning science fun and memorable.
- Team Projects: Work together on exciting group projects that foster teamwork and collaboration.
- Art Shows & Exhibits: Display your creations in our periodic art shows and exhibits, where kids can showcase their work to family and friends.
Class Details:
- School Year 2024-2025: Our classes start on August 5th and follow the Buford City Schools school year calendar.
- Tuition: $650 per semester (18 classes each). Payment options include a one-time payment or $130 per month. If a child joins the class in the middle of the semester, tuition will be prorated accordingly.
- Make-Up Classes: In the event that a child misses a class, a make-up session may be scheduled within the same week, provided that prior notice and permission are given. Otherwise, no make-up classes will be allowed.
- Holiday Schedule: If a class falls on a holiday, students have the option to join another class during the rest of that week. Parents are encouraged to check the calendar for holiday schedules.

Make Your Child's Wish Come True!
Celebrate your child's special day with an unforgettable birthday party at Alice in WonderLab! Our magical, Wonderland-inspired parties are designed to make every child's dream come true. We customize and create a program based on your child's interests, ensuring a unique and memorable experience for all.
What We Offer:
- Custom Themed Parties: From STEM-based activities to creative crafts and games, we tailor the party to match your child's favorite themes and interests. Whether your child wants a STEM-focused party or a more traditional celebration, we make it happen!
- Wonderland Atmosphere: Step into a magical world where creativity and curiosity come to life, just like in Alice in Wonderland.
- Fun and Engaging Activities: Our parties include a mix of fun activities that keep kids entertained and engaged, making the celebration extra special.
Reservation Details:
- Advance Booking: Prior reservation is necessary to create a customized theme. Please make your reservation at least 2 weeks prior to the desired party date. We host parties on Saturdays.
- Reservation Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to secure your booking. This deposit will be applied to the total party cost.
- Party Costs: The base cost for a party is $250 for up to 8 children. Each additional child is $20, with a maximum of 20 children.
